SharkChic is the business of Meredith (Meri) Peach.

Most of my work is inspired by nature. I originally trained as an artist (B.A. Visual Arts) and worked as an illustrator, but later studied biology (B.Sc., Ph.D.) and worked as an academic researcher and lecturer for several years. One of my specialties was studying sharks, earning me the nickname SharkChic. In 2004 I left academia to resume an artistic career. I now operate as a sole trader business, incorporating my passion and skills in art and biology.

Meri

I used to work here, on One Tree Island, Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Now I am based in Sydney, but I also have a bush block in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Surrounded by sandstone cliffs and friendly neighbours in the LandCare group. Beautiful.

Sigh... life is a sea/ tree change.
